Our Macallan coaster is made from Apple Leather, also known as AppleSkin, a bio-based material created from the remnants of juice and compote production such as pomace and apple peels. It combines premium quality with sustainability.

The journey of AppleSkin begins in Bolzano, northern Italy. There, the apple waste is ground into a fine powder and then transformed into high-quality Apple Leather. The result is a material that is both environmentally friendly and aesthetically appealing.

This project shows that even a seemingly simple coaster can have a significant impact through careful material choice and sustainable production. It is a successful example of how design, quality, and environmental responsibility can come together naturally.
